How many of you use multi-rigs when spider rigging. By that I mean two hooks 18 in or so apart if minnow fishing or two jigs per pole. I've always just used one but I think I'm gonna try the two jig rigs.

I use double rigs. I rig them up Caps and Coleman style.
Almost always use double rigs. Sometimes in the spring, I will fish one 1/4 oz jig in the shallows.
I usually run 1/2 oz with my double rigs. When fishing very shallow, I will run just a single 1/4 oz jig on the end of the line with no weight.
I began spider rigging using two hooks above a 1 oz bottom sinker. Every time I'd catch a fish it seemed the fish would shake off both minnows before I'd get my hands on it and I'd run out of bait too early so I switched back to 1 hook. Seems when theyre biting 1 hook does fine and when they aint...well, doesnt really matter then.:o
Thanks guys, I just rigged up 8 rigs with a barrel swivel on the top, then a 1/4 oz egg sinker about 6 in below that. Then a 1/16 oz minnow head jig tied in a loop knot below the sinker and another 1/16 oz jighead 18 in below that one. I wrapped the rigs on a piece of swimming noodle. I'll hook them on my poles when I get out there. Fixin to get my coveralls on and try them out.
