Got 6 brand new Okuma's in the mail last week and when I started putting line on them 1 of them will turn a little bit and then it just locks up and the reel want turn. Ive tried everything I know to do any suggestions?

If it was bought new I'd call and see about sending it back. Sounds like gear problems to me.:confused::(
Call the folks you got it from and tell them that one of them was a dud...they should send you a UPS pre-paid shipping label to send it back plus send you another reel.
k I bought it from Northwoods the same place most of yall get yours from. Ive spooled 2 up so far and one was ok.
ScottV and I just got in 2 each and spooled them up yesterday with no trouble. Will give a fishing try-out Monday or Tuesday.
Thanks Steve its my turn to run the crew this weekend so I want be able to try mine until Friday. Me and some buddies are heading to Washington on Friday morning
i just orderd six myself this week. How long did it take for them to be delivered?
I bought 6 last month from them and had them in 3 days. No problems with any of em.
