Fruitjar is a fairly common term, especially in the bassin world. It refers to an informal small tournament where fishermen put their money in a "fruit jar" and winner takes all.

Thanks feelay, I used to tournament fish and we never called the little throw together tournaments fruit jar. But it works.

Yall let us get this cranking thing figured out a little and we will have to join yall for one of these fruit jar tournaments.

Bring myself some serious bad luck. Happens every time. LOL I FINALLY figured out who sent me that FISHING LURE text. Dang ole Speck. LOL

Last year at Sardis, the day before the tourney was the first time I'd EVER pulled Cranks and we got 2nd so just come on and fish with us. You shoulda seen the jury rigged rod holders I had on there. Had them strapped to the rail of the boat with Hose Clamps and rubber hose insulation to not scratch the railing
