Just a reminder
You all stay safe in this unseasonalby hot weather. Stay hydrated. Water by it self is good by not completely adaquate. Gatorade or Powerade or any sports drink that will replace electolytes is almost essential. Had a close call yesterday working on an old house with no ventilation. The outside temp was 98 and the job took alot longer than I had planned. Short story long, I came home with a case of heat exhaustion. NO FUN!!!! Miss Jane kept trying to take me to the E.R. but I'm too hard headed. After a cool shower and resting in the a/c for a couple of hours and rehydrating, I got back to my old self.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL in this heat. It will get you before you know it.

Good to hear your ok, it can sneak up on you.
Remember also, if you stop sweating or haven't had to pee all day, your getting dehydrated.
Keep an eye out on others around you, you may see their symptoms before they realize how dangerously close they are to heat stroke.

you don't need to be in a heat funk there speck, next time install the air cond. first before you do the wiring,
on a serious note good post, I tend to not drink enough water while fishing.

BEFORE I work ( or fish) in the heat I drink some orange juice - that loads me up with potassium. That helps a lot. But you still need to carry a source of water and electrolytes with you. Even if you carry Gatorade, also carry some some orange juice or other fruit drink. Look at the label of the drink - it will tell you the potassium and sodium content - and choose something that has some sodium and lots of potassium.
