Has anyone heard anything about the new state record crappie being caught at Lake Chicot??? I have heard this several times but can't seem to confirm it. The crappie was supposedly somewhere around 6lbs.

That will be a new world record if substantiated?
I would think the Game & Fish Commission would be publicizing a new record like crazy, particularly a 6 pounder.
It's not a rumor, but it wasn't caught in Chicot it was jerked out of Woodstock along with a few turkeys.............................
