Gotta vent

So I get an e-mail from my wife on Saturday morning here (Iraq) still Friday night back home in Missouri telling me that she was rear ended by some dip$4!t in Knob Noster. :mad: She is a little bruised up but fine :) and from the looks of the pics that she sent me her Vue is going to be totaled. :mad: Well she stopped by our insurance company this morning and finds out that this idiot didn't have insurance. :mad: He apparently didn't make his payments to Safe Auto, which has a wonderful reputation of insuring the dang near uninsurable, back in December. :mad: So now we get to find out how much of a "FUN" (my attempt at sarcasm) it is to deal with an uninsured motorist accident claim. :D:mad::D Add that to the crap that we deal with over here plus I just quit smoking and needless to say I am not a very chipper individual. Sorry just had to get it off my chest.

Sorry -- but the same thing happened to my son in college. Gal didn't have insurance.
Get ready to deal with your insurance company !! Your not going to like the out come.

I hear you on the quit smoking, wife and I tried to quit a few years ago when the nephew worked for me in the prop shop, lasted about 3 days of him getting his azz chew from her and I both, so he comes to work the 4th day with 2 cartons of cigaretts one for each of us and said to go back to smoking he couldn't take it any longer........:)

x2..Also tried quiting cigs. Same result. Kids could not stand me or my wife. Really wish it was as easy to quit as to start. Good luck with everything.

Let it out brother (is that better than sir?), good to hear no one was hurt. It's going to be "Fun" as you say with the insurance unless you have a good one (some are not too bad to deal with). Good luck my friend, it has to be more difficult not being here to help deal with it.

My wife has had 2 accidents when the other party was at fault & they had no insurance. We have American Family & didnt have any problems getting her car repaired. We have every thing threw AF for over 20 yrs never a problem. Good Luck & thank you for serving.
JJ quit smoking cold turkey 5yrs ago May 1 best thing I ever did. That was after 40 yrs of smoking. If you want to quit you can hang in there.
