Just got a call

My new terrova with i-pilot is in! :) Going to pick it up tomorrow. Going to cut the shaft down though:(. Have decided against doing it myself. There is a Minn kota repair center nearby. If I do it, I lose the warranty. I keep the warranty if a certified repair center does the cutting. ;)

Wuss. Sad state of affairs for the american male when we have to hire out for a hacksaw operator. Our grandfathers really were the greatest generation.

I don't really blame feelay.....thats a lot of money to risk loseing the warranty over. I think he is doing the right thing.

I hope you aren't taking it to the one here in Memphis over on Park ave. Those guy's are a bunch of crook's and ruined my Motorguide Digital. I know several other people who have had MAJOR problems with them.

My dad is getting his done @ Grizzly Jig. Lance there is certified and gave him a price of $30-40. You can make appt and wait while he does it. That might be a little far for you to want to drive though.
