Which Way Would You Vote Today?

Seems there's alot of discussions (and a bit of bickering or maybe some be-littling about each other's beliefs) between folks here about what's right or wrong about their keeper limits, so with all the talk that's been going on for several days now, I'm interested in which way would you vote if a size limit of 10" was voted for on the lakes that you like to fish? In this poll I have left only two choices...yes or no.:)

For my preferred lake, Oconee... YES

I do think it should be done on a lake by lake basis though. Lakes like sinclair need more than just a 10" size limit.

This is a great way to preserve the future of the crappie fishing sport in the state of Georgia for all of us now and for our grandchildren.

Keeping small Crappie is unethical!

I vote no because there's so many crappies in our lake that if they didn't take some of the smaller ones out, they'd be stunted. If they're going to eat them, take them.

I would vote yes for a 10" limit on the larger lakes. Chaunc made a good observation about over population leading to stunted fish. I don't think that would be a problem on lakes that have an abundance of shad, such as West Point, Lake Rusell, and Lake Harding, for example. I believe that we need size and creel limits on all lakes but they should be determined for each lake.

I guess everybody knows how I voted, but, it's just one the many ways we can give back to our fisheries instead of just taking and that's all I'm after, is to give back..
