Wonder if any of them ever put that much energy in their job? Lots of them probably were slackers and spent too much time on facebook instead of working, then whine cause they "ain't got no job" or won't work because the "deserve" more. Of course, ignorance , as always, has no message. Amazing.
The only message I can interpret from these slackers is that of tyranny, driven by the union influences.
They should gave up all the conveniences that greedy corporations produce

I don't get those people. We've all seen tough times, but this is insane. And none of them is smart! I've watch all sorts of interviews with those people. Many of them are completely nuts.
Backto .... that's the kind of people that journalists LOOK for, to interview ... the radicals ... because it makes a more sensational story. The more sensational the story, the higher the ratings for their news company, & the more likelyhood they'll rise in the journalist ranks. It would also depend on the political slant of the news channel they work for, & their own political bias ... as to how the story is portrayed. "News" isn't news, anymore ... it's become entertainment, wrapped in an infomercial, with short soundbites of actual information that's slanted towards the political leanings of whichever news corporation is putting on the show.Quote:

I understand that, but the coverage is wacky! Conservative based rallies have generated 10's of thousands of participants each time--no media coverage. But you put 100 OWS protesters in front of Wall Street, and it's 24/7. They have no message, no goal, and only just this week thought up "demands". Demands to who?? For what? Personally, i would be flat out ASHAMED to TAKE it, but obviously it DOES NOT 'bother' most of them to do so...NO surprise there.
Be it OWS or Tea Party, I'm just excited to see someone other than the asses and elephants getting attention. We have a wasteful, greed-driven, extremely bifurcated political system in major need of overhaul, and the OWS'ers are doing their part to change things for what they feel is better. And financially speaking, I think the OWS'ers have a pretty good point on inequality. If the 1% doesn't trickle more down they're going to lose control to civil unrest and then we all lose. Instead, when we need them the most, they hole up and sit on enormous cash reserves because their money making machine is broken!
The OWS'ers want money for nothing, the Tea Party wants gov't for nothing, now if we could just find a balance somewhere between it all. But that can't happen, because those producing our mass media wouldn't be able to sensationalize and financially capitalize on such simplicity. And without entertaining media what would we do with our evenings and weekends!?!? Well, I know a few of us that could make do with a little fishin'... ;)

I personally don't think the president has all that much power over the daily lives of Americans; more of a figurehead to let us know the intentions and activities of his party. As I noted above, the media loves OWS but went out of their way to slander the Tea Party. They practically blamed the Gabby Giffords shooting on the Tea Party and virtually ignore the violence of OWS.
As for Edwards, the media had to be dragged kicking and screaming to even cover the story. The National Enquirer had been on the story for months before the NY Times, Wash Post, CBS/NBC/ABC/CNN/MSNBC issued the first word about it.
We all saw what happened to Herman Cain. The media couldn't wait to jump on a black conservative.

What you leave out here is the worker ought to put in a full day for "fair" pay. Fair is a fairy tale. I see folks burning the bosses dime on the internet. Fair? I see the project people daily. Fair.
