What ever you do don't buy a riptide, i got a 70lb co-pilot. Worst piece of fishing equipment i havfe ever owned, especially if you are used to the standard foot control. i will never buy another digital, i have had mine in the shop four times and haven't owned it a year. finally took out the co pilot trancducer and it stopped burning up the boards. Only thing it was good for was trolling in a strait line, other than that it was a lemon.

sonar and is digital and i think like the rip tide
The Minn Kota power drive V2 would be a good choice. I've had one for three years & had excellent service.
well the new ones have the co-pilot option like the riptide and are digital, i just do not want to have any problems with the new electronics because I am now on my 4th fishfinder and they all had problems with the electronics, 2 humminbird and then an eagle seafinder.
okay i do not need a trolling motor anymore. I just purchased a new motorguide FW gator flex
