I would like to introduce this as a fact finding post to obtain idea,s and opinions from the Pro,s in catching crappie during the hot summer months.
Myself, I fish late or early in the mornings and going to crank-up the night fishing.
Some of the crappie fisherman either stop fishing after the spawn or continue to fish the shallow waters where the spawn took place.
The crappie habits are to return to the deep waters after the spawn. Fishing the timber or brush in deep waters, adjusting or finding the proper depth is my way to catch them. This is where I tight line mostly in the brush
