Will a #8 sickle hook fit into a 1/64 mold?
Depending on the mold you might have to shave some metal where the shaft of the hook goes(They have the instructions for size hook what lead to use etc.) sometimes that small band of aluminum is a little wide for hooks.
The smallest I have is size 6 mustads and they're just squeaking by the tip of having to trim but it also depends on the mold. The only way to tell is put them in the mold and see if it close's if it doesn't close slowly and watch where it's hanging up.
If no one else answers I'll take a photo tonight and show exactly what I'm talking about, can't do it here at work.

The reason I ask is I would like to find somebody to pour some 1/64 and still be able to use sickle hooks in them. The smallest sickle size is a #8 so I was wondering if that can be done
Im sure it can be the 64 sickles i buy have #8 hooks on them.

I have two 1/64 molds and they both take a #8 and a #6 sickle hook. One with and one without a collar.I like that slow fall with the 1/64.
