Wow those are some pics, I wonder how the will move that big ship off the levee, and boats off the hwy. Its still amazing what mother nature can do.

any word on the USFWS station out on Pass a Loutre? i'm sure that is gone. it will be interesting to see how the delta has changed when the water recedes....if it recedes..
Hey DonG. That was some of my old stomping ground as well. I have a pic of a single cow standing on the Empire bridge just behind those poggie boats. It's hard to imagine the damage that is below New Orleans. I have caught out of the Boothville Heliport many times since it was built also. I figured that most of what was down around Boothville was gone but those pics really brought it to light. Thanks for sharing.
TAE73, they have derrick barges that can pic up much larger loads than those boats with no problem. Thats if they can get them close enough to set up
