FINALLY...a mess of fish
these are not gonna set any records by any means but after two weeks with lackluster results at two other s.e. ark lakes, i'm proud to get 'em...i caught these 20 today at belcoe near pendleton...i caught them in about 8' of water longlinin' roadrunners...they range between 10-13 1/2 inches...i threw back several small ones...tj

That's a good lookin' mess of white perch, TJ. I like that picture. I've been trying to decide where to go tomorrow........Darbonne is still good but Belcoe is closer.......May have to flip the coin again.

lol...overdue bill...my last few outings weren't very productive
steve...the only bad thing about belcoe is the white and yellow bass population...must have caught 50 of the aggravating things...good luck whereever you go

must have caught 50 of the aggravating things
LOL TJ when I read your first post about keeping 20 and throwing back several I thought yeah he had a pretty good day with the psi as low as it is.
When I read must have caught 50 of them aggravating things I busted out laughing and thought yeah he had more than a pretty good day.
Back a few years ago when I run into small bass eating everything I tried as to not catch them they'd eat it anyway. Some no bigger then the lure and they would as you say become aggravating.Time has pasted and I no longer look at it as aggravating anymore.I sorta get a kick out of a 4 in. bass jumping out of the water several times thinking that he's a whale and doing his best to break your line espectly when the lure is bigger then him.
Nice crappie...

Glad to see you did it with the RRs!!!
Ouachita is falllin' like a rock so I'll wait until next week sometime before I venture out.
Thanks for sharin' and the photos are really good.
I'm ready for some normal water. I'll bet the water was still pretty high at Pendleton.
