Crappie Tournament????

I wanted to know how many of you would be interested in a smaller scale tournament here in central Arkansas? It would be one with a competetive spirit and one that would provide an expereince to fish different lakes and learn new techniques from other members.

Maybe a $10.00 entry fee per boat with 100% payback to the top three places with the following breakdown:

1st Place: 50% payback
2nd place: 30%
3rd Place: 20%

Some very simple rules to follow:

1.) All entries paid the morning of the tournament.
2.) Two people maximum per boat.
3.) Follow all state and federal rules.
4.) Two poles per person maximum.
5.) Live or artificial bait can be used.

Of course any of this could be changed to any format, this is just a starting point.

Let me know what you think. Oh and by the way, CEB being the professional would not be allowed to participate!!!:D Just kidding Chris!!!:p

How about I just hand you $10 and we call it even? I can't believe more folks aren't interested in this...maybe it's the 2 poles rule:confused: I wish I could join you, but the honey-do list keeps getting longer and longer and longer...:(

Im interested but maybe we can change the pole rule.

But seriously, all rules can be changed. We can make the format to fit everyone's style.

I just wanted to get some of us together to fish the same lake on the same day. There's a wealth of knowledgeable people on here and maybe if all of us attack a lake on the same day, we could learn some new techniques or so.

Just to make the trip fun or more interesting, I suggested the smaller scale tournament. But let me know, I may even be able to get a local bait shop to help support it!

Sounds good to me. I don't have a problem with the 2 pole rule. I only have 2 hands. Which lake ? How about DeGray ?

I think we should have a Tournament/Cook Out on a certain Sat every month on different waters across the state. That would be too cool if we could all pull that off and would be a great forum to meet each other. CP
