These BGs were caught 5/24. Kept 40 – released about the same. All silver hard body jigs – 1/32nd #8 hook, 2 lb test, and crickets. Not quite the toads - yet....

I see why you like the BG fishing in Cali. Thoooooose are some monster gills. I like that silver jig. Good catching !!
Those are some beauties. I noticed you mentioned the 2lb. test. I love that line when the water is junk free enough to use it.
