I fished the state park area Friday and found the fish out on the points in 30-35’ of water. I spider rigged minnows at 15-18’ feet. I ended up with 10 keepers and caught a lot of small fish. Water temp 70-72. Still much better than being at work! I wish everyone here a happy and safe holiday weekend and to any members who are veterans, a great big thank you!
Nice fish!, how far is that area from I435? I am going to KCI on June 1st to pick up my nephew (10 yrs. old) and want to try an area near there while I'm up there.

Friday was pretty mild, only 2 rigs in the parking lot that morning at state park and maybe 5-6 when I left. There was 2 weekenders that was pretty fun watching try to back down the ramp before I left.:DQuote:
