That's terrible news. Dang flood control is always gettin' in the way of good crappie fishin'...

NIMROD I feel your pain, Greer's is only up 9' but it sure make tough to fish or even get to your boat if you have it docked.

The water spilled over Narrows Dam on Lake Greason at 3 pm yesterday. Lake is about 6 inches above spillway.

I definitely know where you're comin' from. Ouachita is 13' high and still rising. I have suspended my fishing until 1 June. We'll see what it's like then. In the meantime, I reckon I'll get caught on some of my 'honey-dos.'

My buddy Crappiekeeper said he is changing his vacation from Memorial week to mid-June. He said that he has already reserved campsite #7 at Carter Cove.
I went down and took a picture of his campsite for him! :)
