butchers creek today
Went down for a few hours this morning, lake was muddy at clarksville so went to rudds and went up butchers fished a couple piles not really marking alot of fish so as I was coming back out under the bridge my fish finder went all red and blue I thought something was wrong with it til it all disappeared so I turned around and dropped my jig and bam, again bam so I set off that 1 piling about 15 feet and caught fish for 3 straight hours brought home a pretty good mess biggest fish was 1.53 as I was leaving met these elderly folks (man and wife) and told them anchor here and load the boat and they started too as I was cruising out..Creeks were real clear..GOD Bless and good Fishing....Russ

Sounds like a fun trip. I talked to Billy at work today and he told me that you were at Buggs and had got into 'em. Have you hit Leesville any lately??? I went the other day and found a pretty good school of fish... there was a guy there who was workin a trot line... he saw me hang a few fish so he drove over to talk... while he was talkin he "accidentally" let his pontoon boat drift over into the brush pile:mad:... he said "oh, it looks like I got in your way..." fired up his out board (3 foot from the bank by this time) and gunned the throttle:mad:! Needless to say that shut those fish down:mad::mad: I hope that I can get back up there soon and try to find 'em again.

Thanks for the report. I was wondering if they would be under that bridge since I had heard reports of catching them at the Clarksville bridges.
