everything is to full and dangerous to get a boat on around here. if its not got a current going out, its got a current coming in. mostly in right now. my great grandpa used to tell me , when i asked if we could go fishing. when the water was like this. he would always say the water was to wet to go today lol!:confused:

I hope sayin' that doesn't jinx us!:D I know that I couldn't fish the AR river at all last summer...I hope it's not gonna be a repeat. The river is at 18' stage and 238,000cfs at the moment. Just got off the phone with Gooch, and we figure that I could top out at 40mph heading downstream with my 25hp motor...:rolleyes:Quote:

I hate to admit it. I bought a toon boat about three years ago so we could have dinners or BBQ's on the sand bars on a Saturday afternoon. The river has been screwed up ever since. May be if I abandon those plans the river will settle down at least for one year.
