nice jigs what are the body's made of?

Oh yeah, you look ready. I'd maybe add some cap spiders. I've been tearin them up on those lately.

Thanks for the link think I will give that a try doesnt look to hard to make

DC Thnx – the bodies are 3/0 flat thread with lots of clear fingernail polish (wet-n-wild brand).

Thnx for the link – very informative. A real great loss to the fly tying world.

Guys for a great coating to use on thread neck jigs try using Dave's Flexament or make your own. If you want to make your own flex coating/glue just get your self a tube of GOOP and Toluene (Toluol) for a thinner. Now that thinner is some bad stuff, but it make Flexament a lot cheaper. If cost is not a big deal just buy some Dave's Flexament. It is a bit thick and works well on thread, but I don't use it on chenille jigs.

Also if you make your own I probably would put it in plastic bottles and would use glass.

LedHed,I like the black jigs with the touch of pink on top of jig head!! I know your silver or gray jigs would work on the lakes that I fish because they are mostly clear.

What size hook and weight are you using?
