I have heard from different people that the crappie are bitting real well at Noes dock.
Does anyone know if there is any truth to this.
Does anyone know any good place to fish for crappie off the bank around Barbourville or some where with in driving.
from a few folks the the crappie were biting at the old Noe's dock site as well....a couple of weeks ago. Nothing has been happening this past week. There's a little bank from which to fish, but the water is pretty skinny. Won't hurt to give it a shot. :)
went to noes nock the water was reallly lower than it was a year ago caught a decent crapppie a good largemouth and a small crappie they all where caught a on a gray grupp on a jig head.
Someone on the other side of the ramp caught a 2 or 3 really good crappie on minnows.
Seen someone with a good stringer of crappie.

doesn't exist anymore. It was a nice little boat dock and 3-4 room motel some 20-30 years ago. It was located where the Cumberland and Laurel Rivers met a few miles below Cumberland Falls. You can still get to the location off of US 25 between Corbin and the Cumberland Falls turnoff.
