Jordan
Fellas I don't claim to be a great fisherman but I do consider myself average at least. However...I cannot seem to catch a crappie on Jordan. It is without a doubt the hardest place to catch fish that I have ever seen. Went today and caught 3 catfish accidently and zero crappie. What is up on Jordan ? I must be doing something wrong.

Trolling is a good way to fish Jordan if you don't know any particular spots. This time a year back in some of the coves are a good place to start. Bush, White Oak, Beaver and Stinky Creek are good choices.

You got to be doing somethin wrong. Jordans best crappie lake around. Even politicians catch fish there, and you know how dumb they are. You need to be in the right place 1st, and thats in the bigger coves and long creeks. Then find the right depth. Start in the shallows and fish out to the deep areas about 10 or 12 ft. Easiest thing to do is minnow fishin, tight line, no corks. Put out about 6 rods and slow troll them. Drop the bait to the bottom and reel up 2 turns, then couple rods go middepth. Watch your rods carefully cause they aint gonna rip it out of your hands, usually just a light touch. And then if that dont work Ill go with you 1 day---during the week. Weekends now are to crowded.
