Headed back to the Gold Creek yesterday to take advantage of the light winds. Found the crappie exactly where I'd left 'em...but couldn't find as many big'uns. Ended up with a good mess of eaters out of that deep hole, still on the bottom. All of 'em still had plenty of eggs...so not sure why they are still down this deep? Big fish was 15", but was full over worms when I filleted her...:mad: There must've been 8-10 worms per fillet. And they wanted minners more so than jigs. And why is it that just as I become fully free to fish...the word breezy becomes so common in the weather forecast?:(
