Anyone on the rez around Noon sunday?

Hope you're all OK, I got lucky when that line of storms came through. I saw it coming across the lake and found the Causeway Bridge real fast. I was HOLDING ONTO the pilings and it was so strong that it blew the hat off my head and I couldn't hold onto the pilings. Needless to say, I left after that close encounter. That was my first real close call and I didn't like it one bit. Darn these Crappie, they make ya do stupid things. LOL Did pick up 23 yesterday before noon and a few of the females were spewing eggs as I landed them!!!

Here are the pics of yesterdays catch. DARN WIND. I woulda caught my first ever limit it that storm hadn't come through and ran me off

Those are nice! Good catch- DonDon I might be wrong but I thought you had mentioned some time ago that you wanted to try a fly rod on crappie- if so, have you had a chance to try it? I'm still waiting for a good day weatherwise and if I wait too much longer I'll have to cast to gills.

wherre I can throw it, I darn sure am gonna giver her a try. I Did cheat though. LOL Put on a jig and used it to troll with. Actually caught 5 or 6 before I hung up and put it away

Was out there saturday but knew better sunday almost did but talked myself out of it. Looks like ya did pretty good tho.

Was fun fishing buddy even with the wind a kicking

went down by a guy I've gotten to know pretty good and anchored next to him. He had 10 when I got there before 7 but they shut off for abit as soon as I got there. LOL Guy in a red G3, think his name is Frank. kewl fella and can talk some junk.
