Getting tired of waiting on Humminbird to update my 987C. Two week promise has turned into month and a half wait. No end in sight either.
Anyone have one of the Raymarine model DS600X and if so how do you like it ? Have a chance to get an excellent buy on it but hate to commit financial resources to another promise.
tried to find reviews on net but could only find 2 and they were both favorable.
these are great units. had two on boat now for 4 years and they are trouble free. easy
to see in sun and they have a night time screen that is wonderful.
only thing i have noticed they are so powerful they are hard to adjust for swallow water.
like 3 to 4 feet. great for finding brushpiles in water more than 4 or 5 feet.
best unit i have used in 45 years of fishing with electronics.
Ordered one yesterday thanks for your opinion on the Raymarine. I hope I like it as much as you.
