Powder painting today

I went fishing this morning with my dad and caught 25, so I came home motivated. So, I broke out everything and painted 90 jigs all 1/16, some #2 hooks, some #4. Also, mixed a little powder to create my own green. Plus, tried my hand at some two color jig heads.

As always, comments/suggestions appreciated.

I like the pink with black. Gonna have to get me some black and so some combos with it.

Something to try that I just did. I did the first coat with the heated jig in yellow. Then I let it cool and dipped it cool in orange. Then I took my finger and wiped away eye spots and heated it again to set the orange. When I baked it I had instant eyes. The color was a little off but it worked.

Will see if I can find it to show how it looks.

Nice job,I like how the sprinkles turned out,especially the pink with black sprinkles.

gonna do them wit black and white buck tail w/a lil red flash.

Thanks guys. I'm kinda partial to the pink with black. Also the new green looks killer in person. It's got a pearl/metallic look to it. The picture doesn't do the color justice. Now if the crappie like it half as much as I do, there will be some good fishing in my future.

try orange and yellow i call it fire on ice. Use it ice fishing of course ;)

I painted 50 more jigs today. Most were with a collar and barb for using with plastic tube jigs. However I did paint some in gray, which I mixed myself. I've just about decided that you can create some really nice looking colors if you mix your own AND YOU USE WHITE PEARL. Here's the results.

I mix Candy Grape w/ Firecracker,and Glow wht.NEATO"Try it Looks like stone lavender",and actually has lt. glow to it!
