Finger Nail Polish

I saw where they make finger nail polish in a pen applicator.
Has anyone try'd useing using these on their jigs or lures???

I'm not beeig funny, saw it my wifes magazine and thought you could use
it for eyes on jigs.

Actually there are several of us on here that use fingernail polish. I won't name any names and I'll plead the 5th on my own behalf. See the Shelllcracker Swap thread to see who's into that stuff :D. Bunch of weirdos on the internet you know...

Allright allright, being serious now, I did see that they had some fingernail polish in a pen-looking applicator the other night when I was at Wal Mart. I got the regular stuff that comes in a bottle, so I don't know how the pen-applicator polish works. But I imagine it's the same stuff, just in a different container. Give it a shot. Your in good company here :D;).

Try some and let us know how it turns out. I prefer powder and vinyl jig paint myself although I have tried some of my wife's nail polish and she has a lot but havn't been thrilled with the results.Probably just me but I can't get a smooth head like I do with the other paints.Maybe I can use some pointers.

Great tip - haven't seen them - yet.

that would be great for eyes if the tip stays neat and does'nt gump up. (Girly voice) I hate it when my polish gumps up and I can't do a thing with it. lol

I did see those pens as well... :o probably get one sooner or later. :D

JJ - Here's what I've learned. It's definitley not all the same stuff, some works good and some not. The thinner consistency the better. I always under paint with white if doing a color that's not dark and top coat with hard as nails. The top coat seems to make everything smoother. Some of the clear stuff with glitter make a pretty neat finish over another color. I did mine in swap #7 with nail polish, you will be gettin them soon. ;)

cool can't wait to get it. I use clear hard as nails over acrylic paint for my eyes and it seems to work and hold up good,

nail polish hmm no i would neaver use that stuff /cough /cough but i heard if you can get your hands on car flake and put just a bit into hard as nails with 2 bb's it gives a very nice look
but realy the pens i have seen them and been asking myself the same thing how would it work for eyes

ok I just confessed to my wife that i talk fingernail polish with a bunch of guys and well after the wierd look she told me that the pen does'nt actually have a pen like tip but a wide kinda brush like tip so guess that wont work for me.
