terrova question
Can the foot pedal be disconnected and the key fob copilot utilized. I am upgrading TM's and considering powerdrive V2 or terrova but dont like the foot pedal the terrova has.
I know there have been threads featuring this but wanted another opinion.
let me know what you guys think.

You can use the copilot alone.

I use them both at the same time. You can set your speed with the foot control and steer with the cordless copilot.

The Terrova is a fine unit. But I have compared the Terrova to the Power Drive V2 and I just can't justify the price difference between the 2. Some of the guys who own the Terrova may disagree with me, but I have never used a Terrova either. I have tried a co-pilot before, but I use a hand control in place of the foot pedal. The rheostat in the hand control will allow to fine tune the speed better the co-pilot does.

I have a Terrova, the best way I have found is to use the remote. It will do anything the foot pedal will do, but it will not overide the ft.ped. I keep it in storage and use my remote, it does not have to be hooked up for remote to work.

The only thing that the remote will not do is allow you the "infinite" speed control that is provided on the pedal..
Drill Instructor's post has given you the work around for that, if that's an issue.
I love mine.
The Auto Pilot on the Terrova is a huge improvement over the earler PD models..
