Electronic woes.......

I was out in some "rough seas" last few days. My homemade onboard computer HD crashed. It was supposed to be able to handle extreme conditions. Oh well. VoomPC is fixin it by replacing the hd with a SSHD. It was working till I hit the rough water, jumping waves like a Ski doo.:p

Brok my Garmin GPS. Dropped it. I had just got the damn thing working.:o

Humminbird 2D looks lots better. I had to use the HB gps, so I just lobbed buoy markers like hand grenades. ;)

I got past the 2000 rpm mark on the engine. It was a long hour. The War Eagle is pretty smooth in rough water. You feel safe in the boat.

Sounds like a lot more positive then negative.

You'll like the solid state drives. Nothing can touch them for read, but the write lacks a little bit. For running an OS, they are wonderful.

I imagine that you actually make the boat look good. ;)
