Ride Pony Ride

Well I needed to make a few new ones for me to try soon, well as soon as I get a chance. However one of these I know works well as I have been using one like it and it's the one with the FL Yellow Crystal Antron Body. Looking forward to getting after them now. Tails are Crosscut Rabbit.

I like them. Thanks for sharing. I also tied a few chart/blue/chart jigs like you recommended in response to my post, "gettin ready for spawn." But the bad news is I ran smooth out of chart. and pink marabou... :(

A few of the split rings are bigger than need be and they are size #3, but most I use is #2. The blades I bought all last year so will need to look that up.

Oh and I did put some blades on a few of these that were supposed to be for 1/16 and just thought I would try them. All the real Roadrunner blades (ones with Roadrunner stamped in) are just what they send me.

Sweet as usual!!!!!! I've always used the smaller split rings but do you notice any turning problems with the bigger split rings????

I am going to find out and these will be the first ones for me to have tied with that split ring so we shall see. I ask Blakemore about that and they told me it should matter at all. I am not really sure that it may even be better since it will have the blade a tiny bit farther from the jig head. The willow leaf blades I have on there has a big enough hole that it should be the same. The ones I have are light wire so that should help.

Can't wait to see how the bigger blade with bigger ring is. I will let you guys know what I find out.
