Dentist and I put in about 8 in the morning. Went back up the creek to start, couple of bites and one dink. Went to old bridge pilings and wind blew us out. I let Jake just run the back end so we wouldn't have to play musical chairs. We went back past the pump station and fished the non blowing side of the oxbow. Jake caught a lil bass. We called it early since the O St game was coming on. Water temp there was 55 to 56 in most places. Found one spot it jumped to 58.
I had to stop torturing myself some time ago just because Bluff was nearest me I went to afton landing and fished those pools and caught many more fish than up there I might not know how to catch them up there tho wish you guys best of luck out there
the water was up and no stumps visible on the east bank...
water temp puts it about 3 weeks away from spawn thats if this rain doesnt drop the temp down any..

Everyone in my area of the cove reported light activity today. No one was catching anything in regards to crappie. I fished off and on all day and never had a bite. But I moved around a lot and never stayed very long in one spot. Water temp here is around 58.
