Saturday morning early caught four good slabs each hitting just shy of 2lbs, 4 feet deep in 6 feet of water clost to bank. Then it shut down and not another bite. Back this morning and not a single bite shallow, deep, anywhere. All four were males so I assume you they were close to bank checking it out. They're close. Water was 58 degress.
Thanks for the update, J. I haven't made a trip out there in a while, but probably need to be going to check it out. Have you had any luck on afternoon trips in the shallower water?
Hey Chris. Good to hear from you. My trips are all sunrise to 10 or 11 a.m. Haven't had a chance to try the afternoons. I've gotten in the habit over the winter of going early. Are you still in Little Rock? Where you been fishing when you get a chance?

Jhook always sticks to the lower end...between the ramp and River Valley Marina.
I haven't done much of squat around this area so far this year. I plan to "babysit" the Goocher out on the LMR this Friday afternoon...now if I can just remember what I did with that shock collar...;)Quote:

Hey Daf - yeah I do stick to the lower end most of the time. usually it's a time thing. I have a couple of hours and that's the most convenient.
