I am planning on going up there and givnig it a try. Does anyone have any info that could help me? Is the lake deep, clear, known for big crappie , lots of sunken brush?
Thanks in advance.

there is some big ones in there. the best fishing i have found is on the far right bank looking at the lake from the ramp. that side is deeper and there is a cove in there full of brush and normally loaded with boats but i catch most of my large fish around the docks but numbers in the cove with an occasional large one. it is really stumpy so be careful. i never waste my time fishing close to the ramp because it is shallow but who knows you might have luck there. there is a nine inch length limit so take a measuring stick. Good luck and let us know if they are biting thinking about giving it a try soon myself.
It's neither deep nor clear.
After speaking to many of my buddies that live on Harris Brake, they say the cove to the east of the big island has many crappies. Also, along the banks of Pine Valley Road in both coves, about 5' to 6'. One fella does well on jiggin' the docks (he lives and has a dock on a point - lucky dog!). But, the folks there have submerged crappie condo's.
He also reports that in the past 3 weeks, there have been a flood of boats headed to Nimrod as he puts it, "Nimrod is the place to be right now."
Joe, where is Harris Brake?
Just before Perryville if you are coming from Little Rock.
Be very careful as their is a ton of submerged trees and brush. Boat lane is not well marked.
