West Lake Toho
Had a guide trip today with Dr John from Tn. We stayed off the beds and trolled between marker 26 and 24. We thought the fishing would be slow, but it wasn't as bad as feared. John and his son Michael landed 16 good fish in the 4 hrs they was with us. They were a pleasure to have on the boat and seemed to really enjoy the day. For those of you who like to troll, and prefer to stay off those bedding fish, troll around Makison island in 9' to 11' of water. The bite is slow but patience will pay off. Blue zip jigs, and Black and Charteuse zip jigs, tipped with minnows, worked the best. Here are a few pics from today.

Michael and I had a blast on the water with b8fish and his Dad! If anyone is in the Kissimmee area and is looking for a guided crappie trip, I recommend these guys wholeheartedly. They are very knowledgable, ethical, and just a plain blast to spend time with. Their fees are very fair and the boat is as comfortable as any I've ever been in.
