Hello all from IL. Been following this forum for a year and decided to join in. From what I'm reading you are a very friendly bunch. Last year was first time to KY Lake, first week of May, Malcolm Creek area. Did good on bluegill but not many crappie. This year will be last week of April, hope to see some crappie like the ones posted on here. Can't wait. Thanks to all for the information on this site.

If your gonna fish Big Bear again, try going back to the south side of the mouth of King Creek (thats the next little bay south of Malcolm, just past the boat ramp) and stick close to the bank and just work that bank (point) into King about 25 yards and into the back of Big Bear about 50 yards. Should do O.K.

Hello,
I have caught alot of fish in Big Bear driftfishing with spider rig that time of year. A drift sock is a very handy thing to have on windy days. It can "save the day" for you! I got a Cabelas "bargin barn" catolog today. Drift socks on sale.
