I was fishing last week and when I got to a new spot the 2-D sonar had quit working. I've reset defaults and no fix....hooked my 997 to my 957 transducer and it worked....even hooked my buddies 997 unit to my sonar and his unit didn't work....basically it sounds to me like my transducer is shot....wondering if anyone else has had this happen and maybe where ya'll have found the cheapest transducers....mine about 18 months old so I'm not looking for much out of Humminbird...
