Plum Bayou

Just in case a few of you guys were thinking about heading to plum bayou this weekend, you may want to reconsider. I went out there yesterday. I got all but skunked,1 dinker. The water is a little low ,a little stained , I thought it looked good. Two other boats had 3 crappie between them and 2 bass. Fished shallow and deep with minnows and jigs my preferred method. Anyhow it will not be long. SPRING IS RIGHT ROUND THE CORNER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the info. I really thought about going there this weekend, but now I may go try the bayous at Dagmar instead. I have caught some nice crappie out of Plum Bayou if the water is right! Just curious, did you load your boat at the north ramp or the one on the south part of the bayou?

You are correct! Spring IS right around the corner...and my freezer is nearing 'empty.'

Are you talking of the Plum Bayou North of Pine Bluff?
