River Condos
Has anyone ever had any success dropping condos in a river? I am from Alabama and have dropped 6 condos so far. 3 PVC and 3 BOO. It has been 3 weeks since I dropped them and I am goin to fish them this weekend. Do you guys think they will have any fish on them yet?

depends on the river and where you have put them.
What is the river like? Here river can range from a boulder strewn torrent more suitable for rafting and trout to a wide ditch that is slow moving and muddy to murky most of the time.
As far as where i would be mindful not to place them so that they would interfere with navigation as well as in a place that is somewhat sheltered form current so they don't get washed away.
I would say that the boo condo is your best bet for catching fish this soon.

The rivers here in Alabama are very big and deep. I knew the current would wash the condos away, so I put them in slews out of the current in about 12 to 14 feet of water. Yeah I figured the boo would be the best this early. I did put some BOO in one of my PVC condos it should work I hope!

I don't see why not as long as they are out of the current. It doesn't take long for fish to find them.

What river did you put them in?I have put 45 in the Warrior river and have caught a few fish off them.

YEah I put them on the warrior. Some at Yellow Creek and other at Gross's Fish camp. Where did you put yours and how deep did you put yours????

I put mine in 30 to 10 feet of water in shoal creek by the mine.
