crappie E.F. ???
Hook1up & my self...Started to leave at 8:am air temp 18F... 15-25mph n/w wind. could not get the latch to open on the trailer...then the trailer dolly was stuck... after all that we pulled out of the drive way...FLAT tire on boat trailer...busted the floor jack...now it 9:am ...we are on the way to Brookville Lake...we get there 10:am we go to Fairfield ramp can't make it down the hill, covered with snow on top of ICE... we leave there and try two more ramps no luck now it 10:45 am... we now are on the way to East Fork...we think we should be able to put on at the champ ground ramp, ...we got that one right... now it 12 noon but we are fishing... the wind is so bad you can't keep your jig down or fill a bite...so we find some tree lines and hills to hide behind... after all that we did end up with 15-20 keepers... and yes I am going back Monday... but I did not unhook the boat and I will not be going to Brookville...

After all that, I'd say the lake owed you a few fish. I hope to be back out finally this coming Sunday. Maybe we'll see ya out there. If you do come out to EF next week, bring some warm weather with ya, will ya? I tried to bring it home from Florida with me Saturday night but I lost it somewhere around Williamsburg Kentucky. Boy am I glad I wasn't hauling a boat. Pouring rain in Tennessee turned to driving snow. I woulda stopped but I wanted to get home in time to maybe get on the lake for a few hours. Then I saw the forecast and figured I needed sleep more than pneumonia.

I figured the ramps at EF were going to be all ice on Sunday. I'm going this weekend. My definition of March madness is I'm done with the TV and start crappie fishing again.
