For me, J Percy Priest lake. By the end of March, it will be getting dark @ 7:45 - 8:00....I live and work close enuff to the lake that it gives me a good hour and a half of fishing 3 nights during the week.:D:D:D
If I HAD to leave town, I'd love to go catch a mess of Kentucky Lake slabs.
i hear ya on the fishing 3 times a week.i fish from march through sept. at least 4 times aweek.my cousin and i are wanting to go somewhere on a fishing trip at the end of march and cant decide on where to go
My next "in state" choice would be Douglas/Cherokee......Don't forget to start a bobber fishing vs trolling argument before you leave!

Ky Lake would be a good choice, and Reelfoot will be very hot with lots of nice fish to catch and it snot real hard to figure out.
I've never been. I've got a buddy that fishes the Kentucky side that keeps trying to get me out there. Everytime I pass Birdsong resort, I say that I'm gonna go soon. Crappietime can prolly get you pointed in the right direction or linked in w/ the right folks.Quote:

Either Kentucky Lake or Reelfoot in Tennessee, Don't overlook Lake Barkley, it would be a sleeper pick. Pickwick not a bad choice either. In Mississippi,, I would pick Sardis, Enid or Grenada. Pretty much wherever you can go that time of year. Late March is crappie time!!!
