PVC Trees
These are a little different than some of the others I built. In this picture I hadn't added the last of the limbs. After seeing a post from a depth finder in the structure forum I added more limbs.
Of course I'll use these in deep water where it's hard to build stake beds by myself.

Fishordie,
Thems some fine trees. How did you drill the holes for the big pipe ?

I bought a 2 3/8 hole saw at lowes. All the cross bars are 2" pvc and the main trunk is 4". It was all old pipe so besides my labor it cost 1.50 per bucket for concrete. I added some limestone to the bucket before adding the crete to give it extra weight. Fun putting over the side of the boat.

sinking them
To makle it easy on yourself putting them in the water get and 2X10 8 ft long. Put it 2x10cross the gunnels put the bucket out on the end then slide it out 5 ft or so before tilting it up and let in slide off. Easy on yourself and the saves the sides of your boat from getting tore up. Thats how we do it.

Thanks for the input. About those trees with the cut 5 gallon buckets, how have they paid off? I have seen those on this site and have cut the buckets but haven't used all the PVC yet so I am waiting until it's gone to install the buckets. Let me know how they have done.
Thanks
