Eye color for head color

I was wondering, for those that do put eyes on your jigs, what color eye do you put on a certain color head? I imagine white on black but how about pink, orange, red and whatever other bright colors?

I want to put some crystal gems on my new pill heads, thank you JJJ. I plan to powder paint the head, maybe try powder painting the eye socket a different color but not sure how I will do that without getting runs. Then glue in the gem with Gorilla glue.

I was thinking this way:
Pink head, white socket, purple gem
Red head, white socket, black or dark green gem
Purple head, white socket, red, orange or lime/light green gem

I thought about maybe putting in some other colors for the sockets but I don't see many examples of that. Would these work:
Pink head, green socket, red gem
Red head, yellow socket, green gem
Purple head, orange socket, blue gem

I just want to try things that will make an attractor pattern like I see everyone using. Is there really any color pattern that won't work?

Those colors sound good and will work. In white besides black try a pink,chartreuse or red socket and your choice of gem. You could also skip the socket and add the gem to all these colors. Have fun....
