Head low, embarassed and just plain feel bad.

Someone came all the way over here today so I could take them out fishing. All I will say about the day is, 1. We put on about 25 miles on the boat, 2. I was the only one that got my line streched, and 3 Nothing was put in the boat to stink up the grease. Man, do I feel bad. I just hope the next time I take someone out, they are willing to catch a few and let me just run the trolling motor. Fishing was bad to say the least..... but at least got to be around a couple of really great people.........and new neighbor come next season.
I have said it once and will say it again. You come see me and want to go fishin, lets do it. Boat is in the water and got gas in it. Just hope I can put us on a LOT more fish than I did today.
My apologies to my future neighbor. Trust me, the fishing has got to get better. If you don't believe me, ask Shu.

Centerdriver, you don't have any reason to hang your head low or be embarassed about.
The weather was wonderful and the company great. We had a great time . You know you have had a good time when you fall asleep in you chair before dinner.
A trip like that, is not alway about catching fish, it is about enjoying friends and just spending some good times together.

Same thing happened with me Sunday, Dusty..Went to Lake Oconee and ended up with 1 catfish and a 3 1/2 lb striper....Not 1 crappie.....Gotta get better!!!!

That sort of falls into the catagory of
1. You can't rape the willing.
2. Something about faster dress up than pants down.
3. You can't steal something that has no owner.
4. Snooze, you loose.
5. Butterflies and retired fishermen are free....not cheap...but free,
and the list goes on and on.
He only volunteered to go out with me if YOU did not show up.
Bottom line......I ain't stole nothing before and ain't gonna start at this late stage in life.
Was kinda figuring to fish with Shu since EJL likes to fish alone most of the time. Gonna wait and see what it happening.
