It's pretty much self explanatory. When I was discussing my bucket lid plan with the Wildlife People here in Tennessee, he mentioned he wished I could come up with a way to use water bottles for flotation. Just got me to thinking and this is what I came up with. If the guys could turn on to providing spawning protection, there would be better fishing in the long run, helping to replace what we take out. Mac

is that a tree or a tree limb.i wouldnt think 20 oz bottles would hold a tree over 10 ft or so off the bottom.but 4 .2 liter bottles probably would just my thoughts
78 mudbug, just wanted to post the idea, it may need adjusting to a person's needs....It should look more like a 5 foot cedar, but my drawing is lacking. Not enough branches shown, just the basic idea. Thanks for your input, it's a good point, just a bad drawing on my part. Good Fishing, Mac
If we can keep the brush or bush up off the bottom, they can find security underneath and hopefully find a good protected place for the offspring among the branches and foliage.
I did it with . 7 gallon buckets and closeet poles through the bucket and lids screwed to the poles 8 foot that keeps the lids off the bottom try it
even with a 5 ft cedar u might have to have more bounecy than the 20 oz bottles.best thing to do is try it and let us know
