If so, do you find that the thread seems to break on you easier because when you wrap it ends up taking the twist out of the thread since your motion is opposite of what the factory twists it?
How do you avoid that?

I'm a lefty I spin My bobbin every few wraps. hey skip I believe the Nor-vise is the way to go for Me and My style.
AM a lefty too. No problems most of the time with thread breaking. I just get heavier thread. As for unwinding, I see it sometimes and it breaks once in a while from it but I never worry about it. The flat waxed stuff is awesome for not breaking in either the 70 or 140 denier. I prefer the 140 because it wraps fast and is very strong. Use less to do more. But if you do a lot of really small stuff the 70 would be a better choice.
I'm a lefty and I've never thought about trying to tie left handed. That's what happens when you live in a righty world I guess.
