and if you happen to win all those categories...well your just the man of the month then...haha!! just trying to set some stuff in stone so we know what were doing from now on without hesitation! I think its great we got our first one under our belts though!
I am in it for the bragging rights.
My personal feeling is if we get to trophies, cash rewards we will bring in "THE BIG GUNS".
I think the fellowship and swapping of tall tales, which you guys are known for:D:D, should keep us together.

I'd kinda like to meet some of them "big Guns".
They'd be playin in our game, so we got the privilege of makin our own rules, etc....
(I really don't care either way), But, want to be somewhat proud if I win somethin.
A nice little $10.00 trophy would be cool, however, I ain't gonna quit cause ya'll might decide a trophy isn't warranted, etc, etc......

Yeah, Nick's got a point, we need to establish a set of standards to go by.
And, cause he has established first set of rules, I can go with that.
#1= Biggest Fish
#2= Heaviest weight of 5 fish total
#3= Most fish caught
Ya'll know, last year me and tjj won a contest put on by a Merritt Island Church down this way, shoot man we won money (bout $180.00 each), $200.00 fishin rod/w/reel, $99.00 auto-inflating life preserver, we robbed em !
But, Ha ! Only reason we won is cause a fellow that fished "Stick Marsh", his live well crapped out and all fish died. But, He had "MONSTERS" and, one could submit one dead fish, which he did, and won "Biggest fish". He coulda won it all except his livewell died on em.
Anyway, this year they'll probably have it again, and "I" got to defend the title (heaviest weight of 7 fish). I really don't think I'm gonna beat him this year.
Have already teamed up with Glenn down there to do this tourney, so, we'll see. And, yeah, I'll let ya'll know when it's happening and ya'll can get in on it when it comes, if you'd like. (March).

Just a thought...What we do is Bragging Rights Only also...But we do have someone to buy 3 trophies...First Place, Second Place, Third Place and Big Fish...Then divide the cost between the number of people fishing and pay for the trophies that way. Very inexpensive and it is nice to walk away with a little something besides great memories. I don't think the Big Guns will come a running for an inexpensive trophy :p
