Guide/Lodging Ideas
I'm looking to bring my 7 yo down this spring (probably April time) for a long weekend fishing trip. I'm most familiar with Bull Shoals lake - Lead Hill area - so would love to find some lodging information and boat rental information for that area - but am open to to other ideas. Would be driving in from KC area...
Any help appreciated! Thanks!

Jason Piper - JT Crappie Guide - can fix you up on Beaver but I don't know any Crappie Guides on Bull Shoals. It would be a bit farther for you but Self Creek on Lake Greeson is a great place to stay and I still have some openings in April. You can check Self Creek out here - Vacation spots in Arkansas – Family vacation Arkansas – Self Creek Lodge & Resort and my website here - ACTION FISHING TRIPS HOT SPRINGS ARKANSAS AREA FISHING GUIDE. There are also some other lodging options in the area. If you stay at Self Creek you can fish off their docks, which should have plenty of crappie under them in April.

If you want to fish for crappie, the best trip you will take is with Jerry. My family went with him last year, and it is first class. You can either stay in Hot Springs or in his camper at lake Greeson. We stayed in the camper (4 of us) and it was very comfortable.

I agree with LRJoe1. Hook up with Jerry on Lake Greeson. You won't be sorry. Jerry is a great guy and knows what he is doing. I don't think you will regret it. Some friends and I went there last year and had a great time.
