Fostoria Res. #1
Just got home. Got down there @ 6:00pm, got 2 holes drilled, about 2 foot apart. Ice was about 5inchs thick. Got a light over the one hole, and by 6:20 started to pull crappies 6 to 9 inchs out but the Gills where bigger and more fight. Over all good night, 29 crappies - 3 came home and 21 big gills. All on Black with 1 red dot ice jig 1/64 oz,Lady Bug, tipped with a waxworm. Water in this body of water is only 4 foot deep. Was a nice night out and hope to get out now, every day some where ! Have to clean fish now. ICE ON !!!!!

Man, I wish my ice was solid!! We have 4+ inches, but it is split into 2 layers with slush in-between. Freezing rain last week got it all out of wack. Could probably get out, but I would rather 4" of clean ice in one layer, guess I got a little chicken in me. Most of what I've checked is fairly deep water, maybe have to check something more shallow. Great to hear of you catching them up north! Keep em coming...
