We around here use treated plywood on our decks and its been ok,most lumber company have it.We'd had some down over 8 years and its still ok...
I see that you are a woodworking enthusiest but will offer this anyway - you might think about using fiberglass resin thinned 50% (until it gets thin and watery) to paint the wood. If its warm out, the first several coats will just seep right into the wood both preserving it and adding rigidity. I used epoxy resin, it is costlier but even more weatherproof.
sticksteering is right. I use resin on any wood I put in a boat. He is right...50/50 for the first coat so it will soak, then put two more coats over that.
You won't have to worry about it after that. No need for using treated wood if your going to use resin...resin will soak into dry wood better...once you have it resin coated you'll never have to worry again unless you do not coat it well or you drill holes that are open for water to get into.
Lowes and Home Depot have it the marine grade also.
You might try asking one of the boat companies where they get it from. They probably get it shipped in from somewhere, but it would be worth a try. Also, I don't think todays marine plywood has the chemicals like the old did. It is supposedly just more layers than normal plywood.
